Turn Car Rides Into Bible Story Time
Grab the audio stories that help your child know Jesus—without begging them to sit still for devotionals.
These audio stories will help you:
- Teach your child in the ways of the Lord—Say goodbye to blank stares during Bible time—these stories pull kids in with action, humor, and heart, so they actually want to hear about Jesus.
- Spark conversations with your child—Tackle deep questions like faith, doubt, and forgiveness in a way that clicks with tweens—without oversimplifying or losing their interest.
- Knowing Jesus becomes part of your every day rhythm—No more guilt over missed devotionals—press play in the car, use as bedtime routine, or while they draw, and watch faith become a natural part of their day.
- Guide your child's faith, even if you are not a Bible expert—Even if you don’t have all the answers, you’ll have powerful, age-appropriate stories that open the door to meaningful conversations about God.
Who This Is For:
This is for parents who want their child to know and love Jesus—without forcing awkward devotionals or battling boredom.
- Christian parents of tweens (ages 8–12) who want their kids to love Jesus deeply—not just repeat Sunday school answers. They’re tired of surface-level faith and blank stares during Bible time.
- Busy families craving connection during car rides, bedtime, or quiet time. They want wholesome, spiritually rich content their kids ask to hear—but are done with constant tech battles.
- Parents feeling spiritually “underqualified” who long to nurture faith at home but feel unsure or overwhelmed. They want a tool that makes teaching God’s truth feel natural—not like another task they’ll get wrong.
- Faith-first homeschool families looking for Bible-based content that actually holds their kids’ attention. They’re over curriculum that feels dry, outdated, or too complex for tweens.
- Families rebuilding or re-centering their faith rhythm after a season of drift. They’re looking for simple, powerful ways to reintroduce God’s Word in a way their kids will embrace—and they’re tired of feeling behind.

Fun Bible Study for Kids
Adventures in Odyssey was created in 1987 by Focus on the Family as a family-friendly audio drama designed to entertain and teach biblical values in an engaging way.
The idea came about because Focus on the Family wanted a creative way to help kids build a Christian worldview and connect with timeless moral lessons. It was meant to counteract secular media influences and offer parents a trusted resource for faith-building content.
The show is set in the fictional small town of Odyssey and revolves around Whit’s End, an ice cream shop and discovery emporium run by John Avery Whitaker “Whit”, a wise inventor and mentor figure. It combines humor, adventure, mystery, and heartwarming moments to draw kids in while addressing spiritual and ethical topics.
This type of storytelling teaches bible lessons without the pressure.
It even helps children talk about their faith and helps parents spark conversations about faith with their children.
It makes Bible study fun for kids.
Building Real Faith in Kids!
Making scripture part of your daily routine can help your children walk with Jesus when they grow up.
This isn’t always easy. If your children roll their eyes and see family devotions as a chore, they could end up a statistic walking away from their faith when they grow up.
You can’t bore a kid into loving scripture. When Bible study is perceived as boring, it reinforces the child’s perception that Christianity is boring.
Adventures in Odyssey makes it fun to build faith and teach children about Jesus.
Kids will want to listen everyday, which means they’ll be learning about Jesus everyday. It’s like having Sunday school lessons everyday.
