But usually the ones that usually work well with me are: historical fiction, realistic fiction, and sometimes mystery/adventure. I’m more of a dog person, but I don’t have a fave emoji. 🙁

    1. Right now I’m writing a devotional called Actions of an Aussie, ( it’s basically real stories about my dog and then a short lesson and some bible verses) I’ve also writing another book, but am taking a break from that one.

  87. What did everyone do for the Fourth of July? 🇺🇸
    My dad’s dad and stepmom came down from Alabama and we had a BBQ and we made hand cranked ice cream and I went to watch fireworks at my friend Lillian’s house. My grandparents stayed at an air b & b right next door to us, also I might be in a play and I am going back to American heritage girls!

    1. Some of this wasn’t necessarily for 4th 🇺🇸of July, but on Saturday we visited some friends we hadn’t seen in a while, then some of my family stoped to watched some fireworks on the way home. I was in the other car with one of my brothers, my oldest sister and brother in law. So we were home before them.

      1. On Sunday we had Sunday morning church, then we had a grill out, had lemonade, and ice cream for dessert. Then we relaxed till Sunday night church, after Sunday night church we went to fireworks 15 mins away from us. On Monday evening my sister and brother in law (which live 3 mins away from us) had my family and my brother in law’s family over.

    1. I think I’m going to get my ears pierced and I get to pick what meals I get to have, but I haven’t decided yet because there are lots of options. I know I will answer a lot of phone calls because I always get phone calls on my bday. I won’t have to do my summer school, too! I also might have a birthday party that my older sibs are helping me plan!

          But it’s a family tradition for us girls that when we turn the age that I’m turning we get our ears pierced so we can wear earrings. You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to, but do you have anything against getting your ears pierced?

  95. I wish there were more characters in AIO who are adopted and came from different countries. Like Suzu Rydell is literally the only character I can relate to in that situation. Detective Polehaus was but that’s different. Suzu was adopted from Japan.

    Also, do you know the song Trampoline by Kero Kero Benito? Since you have a trampoline u might like it. It’s by the same person who did the Flamingo song that I’ve been raving about. Kero Kero Benito is Japanese and her music doesn’t have language in it or any of the other things you might be concerned about.

    1. I am adopted from Rwanda, which is a country in Africa
      My birth parents couldn’t take care of me, and in Rwanda it was illegal to put your kid up for adoption so I got sent to an orphanage and got adopted about 2 years later. Can you tell me about your adoption?

    My mom died of cancer when I was 2 and my dad died when I was 4. I have 2 older brothers in the military, so I am a foster kid with a really nice Christian family till they come back.

  132. I get to see them sometimes though on holidays. My oldest brother is saved, but my younger one is not. If you guys could pray for him. The military is very dangerous, and him not being saved makes it even more dangerous. It would relieve all of us who know him if he got saved. I live in Wisconsin now. Sorry that was a lot. 😅

  142. I was in a situation where I needed to leave fast so I sent her to Pacific Garden Mission. I was going to come back a couple weeks later but she wasn’t there. I found her a few years back though. And praise God she’s a Christian. I’m also going to spend a week at camp with her so I can get to know her better.

Think about the language that’s used by characters on Adventures in Odyssey. If Whit or Connie wouldn’t say it, please don’t write it.Constructive criticism or negative comments are fine, but mean comments aren’t.
