When she entered the Get in the Show contest several years ago, Shona Kennedy had no idea that she would not only win the contest, but also become a popular and recurring character on Adventures in Odyssey. She’s back in “The Ties that Bind” and we ask her about everything that’s happened in the last few years. Plus, hear from Kathy Buchanan about a new Odyssey book: Candid Conversations with Connie

Candid-Conversations

Candid Conversations with Connie

Available now! In Candid Conversations with Connie the questions come straight from real girls and Adventures in Odyssey’s very own Connie gives truthful and candid answers. A wonderful guide to reach out to tween girls and encourage them to work through their issues of growing up and becoming who God wants them to be.

Commenting Guidelines for the Adventures in Odyssey Podcast

Thank you for your interest in Adventures in Odyssey! This page allows Adventures in Odyssey fans of all ages to give their thoughts on the podcast and the show. We welcome your comments. We ask that you read and follow the guidelines to keep this page safe.

  • All comments submitted on this page are moderated and won’t appear for other people to read until they’ve been approved. This might take up to 72 hours if the comment is entered over the weekend or a holiday. We are excited to hear from you and welcome your comments.
  • Remember that many children read this page, so we won’t allow comments that are offensive, overly personal, disrespectful, irrelevant, or redundant. Think about the language that’s used by characters on Adventures in Odyssey. If Whit or Connie wouldn’t say it, please don’t write it.Constructive criticism or negative comments are fine, but mean comments aren’t. Again, think about how Whit would address a problem as opposed to Rodney Rathbone.
  • Due to the number of comments we receive, we can’t respond personally to questions submitted here. If you would like a personal response, please e-mail [email protected] Additionally, please keep comments to the restricted length of 500 characters or less.
  • Please don’t submit personal information (aside from your first name and state/country). We won’t allow posts that include last names, ages, birth dates, e-mail addresses, or phone numbers. Please don’t post links to outside websites. We don’t allow our users to contact each other (for the sake of safety and privacy).
  • Please do not post under multiple usernames. This leads to confusion.
  • We love to hear personal stories from fans. However, this is not the place to submit your own fictional stories or to pretend to be a fictional character. Though we are sure that they are very creative, an Adventures in Odyssey comment board isn’t the best place to share your narratives.
  • Although we love it when our club members are reading, sharing, and discussing the Scriptures, we ask that you please refrain from individual-led Bible studies. This helps avoid the possibility of Scripture misinterpretation and debates over theology issues that can be divisive in our club.
  • Please don’t comment in foreign languages or secret codes. We love the diversity and creativity of the AIO Club Community, but our moderators are unable to clearly distinguish the content of these messages.
  • Don’t post any copyrighted material, such as song lyrics or book passages.
  • Finally check your spelling and language before you submit your comment. Please avoid using slang terms or improper language, improper emoticons that may send the wrong message, or acronyms for inappropriate phrases. Check your spelling and please don’t use too many exclamation marks!!!! Or question marks??? Or emoticons 🙂 One or two is enough.

Any user who believes that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by e-mail at [email protected]. Upon receipt of such notification, we will make every effort to remove any problematic comments.
