what is the agency?
The agency is just a fun way to learn more about God. There are occasionally missions for projects you can do at home or trivia games. There are always bible verses and good discussion about numerous things and we try to get a lesson (a short devotional) out weekly, though it doesn’t always happen. (Part 1)
Recently I was watching a seminar from one of Hillsong’s conferences. Joel Houston was speaking and he said a story that really struck me.
He spoke about a defect he had as a child that caused his chest to cave inwards, but then how as an adult he discovered a surgery that was developing for this very issue.
(Part 2)
He went to the doctor, who told him that unfortunately he could only do it to children, because adults’ bones are too hardened. Defeated, Joel began to leave, but the doctor stopped him. He had noticed something. Turns out that Joel had another rare condition.
One that caused his bones not to harden.
(Part 3)
Anyhow they were able to do the surgery but something went wrong. Joel said he woke up and there was the worst pain in his life coursing through his body and he just wanted to die. They told him they would have to go in again. All he wanted to do was die.
(Part 4)
Recently, Joel went through a very painful time emotionally. He was extremely depressed for nearly a year. But the cool thing is, God used that time to purge him. He used it to bring out some incredible character and some incredible music and he also used it to remove the things in his life that were hindering those things.
(Part 5)
And that surgery? When they went in the second time, they found a cyst. It would have grown into a cancerous tumor, but they were able to remove it very quickly. Had they not had to go in the second time, they would never have found it until it was too late.
Part 7
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
The point is simple. We all go through those in-between places. In a way we never get out the in-between places. But sometimes the pain blinds us and we don’t see what God is doing.
Part 8
Being stretched is painful, but if we lean in and trust, God will work it out for good.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
Hold on to His promises. He’s gonna work it all out.

Madison I’m sorry some kids are being mean to you I know what’s its like from both sides ( I used to be a bully myself but um yeah that’s a another story😥) any who I know this is going to sound crazy but be nice to them ya know try not to get mad or upset by what they say or do because that’s what they want you to do get mad. like if they say your outfit is ugly just say well I like it and that’s all that matters in a nice way though. and if you bring shacks with you ask them if they would like one. and remember sometimes kids act mean because inside they are hurting and making someone else hurt makes them feel better ( sounds weird but its true) just think about what Jesus would do. I hope this helps!💖 ill be praying too😃

Does anyone celebrate the biblical feast (Rosh Hashanah, Sukkoth, exc.)? My family is learning about them. We did some minimal things special for Rosh Hashanah bc it was our first time. A family at church is also starting to learn about the feast. My parents Are going to celebrate Sukkoth with them. I was thinking maybe y’all knew about them too.
i have heard\read about sukkoth and the other feasts as well i think 🙂 that’s cool that your family are celebrating them!😄 my family doesn’t celebrate them but i think we did it for school one time… maybe i don’t really remember 😂

My family is just busy with school, and some home projects.
Yeah Timmy your posts are great and I agree with county girl it takes a lot of courage and faith to be a Christian today, but we just need to know that God is always in control no matter what happens and that this world is not our home for christians our home is heaven! A few days ago my little sister and I were laying in bed and we couldn’t fall asleep. All the sudden she started reciting poems and verses! It was so nice. That day I sprained one of my toes.

My grandmother is having surgery today to remove water from her brain. Its supposed to be simple surgery, but shes 81, anything can be dangerous when your that old.
Our friends dad had a heart attack. He has to have triple bypass surgery (I think that’s what its called). Its pretty dangerous.

Hey everyone. Heres an update on my prayer request yesterday.
My grandmother survived the surgery and is only staying in hospital one more night.
Our friends dad also survived his surgery, but his health is worse than the doctors thought. I don’t know how long he will stay in hospital.

Please pray for my grandmother. We had hoped the surgery would help her memory,but she is actually worse off than before the surgery. Also she lives over 1,000 miles away from us so its hard we cant help her and be with her. She has my grandfather but hes also old and has some health struggles. please pray for both of them.

As Christians we will face persecution, even more as we are nearing the Lords return…Some Christians in other countries are getting tortured and killed bc their belief in God. Has anyone ever read Gods Double Agent? It talks about being persecuted. Sometimes I get teased about my salvation but really TBC

There is lots of Spanish throughout the book. I did not realize it was not a Christian book. In the glossary several of the spanish words were bad words, so I quit reading it. The story was good but i did not want to have the bad stuff stuck in my head. Sorry for giving you a bad recommendation before I knew that.

Timmy, school is going pretty well. I am doing a medical science this year. I LOVE it. Its all about the history of medicine, genesis of germs, diseases, vaccines, and all in a very biblical view. Its a curriculum called Matserbooks, its affiliated with Answers in Genesis. How is your school? What are you learning? whats your favorite subject?

i’ve been okay, except i got kicked in the face my a horse my brother was training, and i broke my jaw and got a concussion, but other then that i’ve been great! still healing from the broken jaw and concussion, so i haven’t been able to work on the ranch very much:(

Timmy, I am glad your back to the ranch! We just got a German shepherd puppy, so i have been busy trying to start training it to be a good protection dog. I am also working on a garden, its finally warm here. In 2 weeks we are having a lot of construction done to our house (turning our2 car garage into bedroom, carpeting my room,exc.)

Timmy, im not sure what i want to do. I did a medical science and now i am interested in nursing, but almost all nursing jobs will make you take covid vaccine. I dont want to take it (sorry if i sound rude i dont know your thoughts on it). I really want to be a wife and mom, but i may have time in between graduating and getting married to work.

we did have a good day:) we went up to this lake in the mountains and brought our horses and swam in the lake with the horses, and spend most of the day up there, and then we had a really big thunder storm, so we had to come home early, but it was still a really fun day:)

Hey Sophia, i’m good:) just super busy i have a rodeo coming up soon so i’ve been trying to get my horse and me, ready for that.
i haven’t started school yet normally i would have by now, but cause i got hurt this year, i didn’t finish school till the end of July so i’m not starting this year until the 2nd week in September.

Timmy, are you completely better now? A rodeo sounds fun but a lot of work too! How many horse do you have? I have always wanted a horse but we dont have any flat pasture. Our property is mostly woods. Its nice for hunting but not horses. Do you have many other animals? We have chickens, a german shepherd, and some fish.

well the ranch has about 150 horses but me personally i have 6 horses

Timmy, that sounds neat! For History, I am taking a government class by Notgrass. Its interesting, but upsetting when you see how the government was supposed to be ran versus now. What do you do for history?
Sophia for history , i’m doing an American government class from Bob Jones Press.
I have done some Bob Jones when I was younger. Do you do a variety of curriculums for different subjects? I do.
Do you enjoy reading? I do, when I have time! I like missionary books, nurse books, and some old books.
Sophia, i mostly do Bob Jones, but i take a business math and basic accounting class by Abeka.
i do enjoy reading but don’t have a lot of time for it but when i do read i either read missionary books or christian fiction books.

My business math is through lifepacs. Right now, I am learning about insurance on cars. I don’t drive, but it’s still neat to learn about. my parents don’t want me out on the roads when soo many dangerous things could happen. It will probably be different for my brothers, but my parents are extra protective of me, which is nice, most the time!

Haha! The worst part is my book doesn’t use modern day payment amounts. So, the price in my book is different in real life. But I guess they can’t really know the price because everything is always going up.
I will be a senior this fall, so I am trying to learn a lot of real-life stuff. Thats nice about being homeschooled, have more time at home.
Timmy. Hey! Could you please pray for me? On Sunday night I fell on ice and hurt my shoulder and neck. It still really hurts, especially during the night. Thank you!
Sohpia, sorry i didn’t get back sooner, been super busy, we just started calving season, so i spend most of my days and nights out with the herd, haven’t had a full night’s sleep in weeks, but i have to say that spring is my favorite time of year, green grass and new life, always makes me grateful for my life. ill be praying for your shoulder.
Thanks, I am better now:) I read a book about cowboys and was wondering how accurate it was. It sounds just like what you told me! I love spring too, especially after a long winter. I am so excited about gardening, already started plants inside. How have you been?

Sophia, i’m glad that your feeling better. i’ve been super busy, mostly with all the new calves and foals. and trying to find time for school. thanks i’ll try to get some rest. but that won’t happen for a while. cause after calving season we have harvest so i keep pretty busy. how have you been?

I am good! I got a new camera for my bday so I have been taking lots of pictures. I have just been busy with school, trying to see what’s most important to do. This fall, I will be a senior so trying to plan my last school courses! I don’t think I will go to college. I wanted to be a nurse but its hard to do that and not get vaccine.
